Our Girls Program

The SMOSH West Lakes Girls Program is a success story like no other. Starting in 2017 under the vision of (SMOSH West Lakes FC Life Member) Anthony Forby, our girls teams started with U15s who won their Grand Final in their inaugural year which extended the program in 2018 which also formed an U18s team. Now the club boasts a full suite of teams from U08 through to Women’s Senior footy.  Click here to see Women’s Footy details.

The Girls program enlists junior players from Auskick and upwards and nurtures them into competitive footy based on the SANFL Juniors Girls competition.

Girls are trained in accordance with modern and safe principles with a view to guide them towards senior footy and potentially into AFLW where our beloved Erin Phillips (Crows / Port Champion) and Hannah Ewings (Port Power) ended up.
